WHY THIS PROGRAMME BEGAN

To bring space science within reach.

The Agathiar Rocket Science Programme began during the pandemic with accessible weekend lessons, knowledge assessments, scientific projects and opportunities to learn beyond textbooks.

Under the guidance of Padma Bhushan Dr. A. Sivathanu Pillai and the organising team, students explored science through live exposure to laboratories, launch facilities, industry and international research culture.

“The real journey begins” — a theme carried through the programme's Russia travel booklet.
